Madisons are currently recruiting for a Landscape Quantity Surveyor to get started on a permanent basis for a client of ours covering sites across London. 

Our Client specialises in the design and build of luxury residential Gardens and Landscape projects . 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of landscape construction projects within the luxury landscape design and build sector.

Individuals with strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, knowledge of construction contracts and regulations, and good communication and negotiation skills and encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cost control and analysis for high-end landscaping construction projects. This involves monitoring expenses, tracking costs, and ensuring financial targets are met.
• Prepare estimates and budgets for landscape construction projects. This includes assessing the costs of materials, labour, and other resources required
• Evaluate tenders submitted by contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress to ensure financial goals are achieved. This involves tracking expenses, identifying deviations, and making necessary adjustments.
• Manage contractual issues and claims. This includes handling disputes, variations, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and designers to ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of landscape construction projects within the luxury landscape design and build sector
• Individuals with strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, knowledge of construction contracts and regulations, and good communication and negotiation skills and encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Luxury Landscape Experience: Proven experience as a Landscape Quantity Surveyor within the luxury landscape construction sector is crucial.
