Client: My clients is a Tier 1 M&E contractor specialising in several sectors Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Data Centre and Petrochemical. The business has seen a significant amount of growth in the last 5 Years. With a traditional engineering mindset and reinvestment into new principals, the business expects the next two years to be a similar period of growth. After a successful year they now sit at a international turnover of over £300m. In the UK they have just been appointed on a £130 electrical only value Data centre in C. London, a £90m M&E value commercial job in C. London and a £20m M&E value job in Oxford.

Role: Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor – London – Salary up to £40,000 - £60,000 + Travel Expenses + Pension + Healthcare 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior/intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor looking to really progress their career. You will join one of the largest commercial teams in the UK, so there will be no shortage of support, progression and training to mould into a leading M&E Quantity Surveyor in the next 5 years.

Role/Responsibilities:

• As an intermediate M&E QS you will be a key member of the team, providing support to the Project Surveyor
• You will assist in the overall financial management of the project and will gain experience across all areas of surveying practices, including procurement of sub contract packages, cost reporting, measuring of drawings and production of variation breakdowns, and final account negotiations.

The ideal candidate:

• Ideally you will have a degree in building services or mechanical or electrical engineering.
• A reasonable level of computer skills on Microsoft Word and Excel would be a requirement
• You will need to have a willingness to learn, strong personal skills and a good work ethic
