Company Accountant  - LEICESTER

 

Salary £43,875 pro-rata for part time – c.25 hours per week

Our client is a well-established engineering company, maintaining industrial engines throughout the UK. Based in Leicester we are looking for a unique individual who has the ability to work on his or her own, have exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director.–

Key areas of the role are

  • Fully Competent with Sage 50 Accounting & Sage Payroll
  • Monthly Payroll
  • Have the ability to produce Monthly Management Accounts and Annual Accounts
  • Balance Sheet & Trial Balance Management
  • Quarterly VAT Returns
  • Debtor Control
  • Bank and Supplier Payments
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliation
  • Cashflow Management
  • Sales Invoicing
  • Dealing with Imports and ensuring paperwork is submitted to Freight Forwarder
  • The ability to communicate on all levels
  • Using In house Purchasing System (Training will be given)
  • Word & Excel experience
  • The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and therefore, will need to be able to communicate well at all levels, with Directors, other work colleagues, suppliers and customers.

Salary and benefits

  • Part time - preferably 5 part days a week (24/25 hours per week or 5 hours per day). Alternatively our client would consider candidates who would prefer to work 3 full days (8 Hours per day)  with a pro-rata salary based on a full- time salary of £43,875 per annum for a 37.5 hour week
