Neos Engineering are working with a rapidly expanding organisation who work within the plant, construction & demolition industry. They are looking for a service engineer to join their team and grow with the company!

The Service Engineer will ideally be from a plant background being that from Forklift, Powered Access, Agriculture, Plant, Heavy Plant. The equipment you will be working on is incredibly niche equipment but candidates with hydraulic, mechanical and basic electrical understanding will be able to work on this equipment!

The day to day role of the Service Engineer will be attend customer construction sites to deliver, service, maintain and in some cases operate specialist demolition plant equipment. You will be required to attend the depot near Basildon to collect machinery, parts and sometimes carry out repairs there before going back out on site.

The Role:

• On site service, maintenance and repair of specialist plant equipment
• Customer support
• Diagnosing electrical and hydraulic faults
• Delivery of new machines
• Job reports
• Build & Maintain relationships with clients

The Candidate

• Ability to carry mechanical and electrical repairs
• Ideally from Forklift, Powered Access, Agriculture, Plant or Heavy Plant

• Ability to work independently without much supervision
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
