FLT/ Pivot Truck Operative

Are you an experienced Counterbalance Operator? Do you have experience working with a Pivot Truck specialism or other dynamics surrounding Forklift Driving? Are you based in or around Livingston?
We have an initially temporary (Nights) role available within DS Smith Livingston site. This role is ideal for someone with a valid Counterbalance License or experience operating a Pivot Truck whilst considering themselves to be punctual, reliable and proactive.
Role: Counterbalance ForkLift/ Pivot Truck Operative
Location: Livingston - EH54 5DP
Rate: £14.81 per hour
Contract length: Rolling Contract
Shift Patterns: Sunday to Thursday - 10pm to 6am
Responsibilities:

Operation of mobile plant machinery

Operation of fixed plant machinery
-
Dispatching and controlling the quality of product

Carry out daily plant inspections
-
Inspection & Completion of Plant routines

Execution of other reasonable requests
Essential requirements:
-
Previous experience on a Counterbalance Fork Lift Or Pivot Truck

Previous experience within a Warehouse Environment

Physical Fitness as role will include some physical exertion

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to adhere to late nights

Flexibility towards overtime

Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
