Role: Food Technology Teacher

Salary: £30,000 to £43,000

Simply Education are looking to recruit a Food Technology teacher to work in a an Alternative Provision for a September start. This role will also include delivering Design Technology - resistant materials with a responsibility for planning and marking.

The Food Technology Teacher must have an excellent knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum and be comfortable leading engaging sessions at KS3 and KS4 level.

The Food Technology Teacher will need to have excellent classroom management skills and a strong an up to date knowledge of safeguarding and keeping children safe in education.

As a Food Technology Teacher you will need to:

- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE
- Experience working as a Technology teacher delivering Food Tech and Design.
- Passion for teaching and working in education.
- Have a creative approach to teaching
- Passion for supporting students in their learning
- Excellent communication and lesson delivery skills
