Dunbar Education are looking for a Qualified Teaching Assistant to support Reception children settle into their first year of Education.

About the Role:

Join us as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant and be at the centre of the school community! You'll play a crucial role in supporting our dedicated teachers and helping our wonderful pupils flourish. Expect a dynamic and diverse role where every day brings new challenges and rewards.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting the teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation
  • Offering one-on-one support to pupils who need extra assistance
  • Contributing to a lively and engaging learning environment
  • Supervising and aiding pupils during activities and playtime
  • Monitoring pupils' progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Participating in school events and extracurricular activities

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with primary school children
  • Friendly, positive, and enthusiastic demeanor
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
