The CH47 Mechanical Supervisor is required for the modification, servicing, and repair team.

The ideal candidate should have served a recognised relevant trade apprenticeship or equivalent training and possess knowledge of general aircraft maintenance processes, including FOD control, tool control, health and safety, and COSHH.
Extensive experience with military aircraft and familiarity with specifications while working with limited supervision and maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in leadership, supervision, and control of technical staff for aircraft maintenance, modification and repair of aircraft components is necessary. The role requires excellent communication skills for distributing and sequencing technical work requirements, managing workloads, and maintaining schedules.

Responsibilities include:-
Supervising/overseeing technicians to perform tasks associated with aircraft safe handling. Maintenance, modification and flight test ie: maintenance, assembly, disassembly, and modification of Chinook components.
Fault diagnosis, carrying out disturbed system functional tests, changing removing replacing or upgrading aircraft components on complex aircraft systems to correct failures or implement changes, whilst ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
The supervisor must understand technical documents, drawings, and associated publications. Familiarity with MAA Regulatory Articles (RA), MAA Regulatory Publication (MRP) Part 145, aviation Quality Assurance (QA), and Safety Management System (SMS) is essential.
