Central Recruitment are working with a Manufacturing Company based in Altham, recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to work on a permanent night shift

Monday - Thursday 7pm - 7pm

Main Duties

• Operating a Silicone Coater machine
• Packing products, which includes wrapping, weighing and palletising goods.
• Ensuring data is accurately recorded using in-house computer system
• Following work instructions and customer specifications
• Working to a priority list and completing work to customer deadlines
• Meeting/exceeding performance standards with regards to safety/waste and quality
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace in line with health and safety guidelines
• Reporting any faults or improvements to your supervisor
• Getting involved with initiatives and projects

Candidates applying for this position must have previous machine operating experience, be ok to work a permanent night shift.

Candidates from a printing/coating background would be ideal

Salary: £12 per hour while training on days for two weeks

This will increase to £13-14 once fully trained and competent in the job and on the machines

Shift allowance paid and also overtime rates after basic hours worked

Overtime is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Training will be on the day shift 7am -7pm for two weeks and then will transfer onto the night shift

This is initially a temporary position although could be permanent for the right candidate after a 12 week probation period

Immediate start for the right candidate, on-site parking, accessible on public transport from Blackburn, Burnley and Accrington, staff canteen and weekly pay while working through Central Recruitment
