🔍 Job Title: Regional Security Advisor, EMEA (including RSM)

📍 Location: Uxbridge

💰 Remuneration: Annual salary ranging from £72,000 to £84,000

📝 Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time (Office Based)

💼 Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and solutions to mitigate operational, strategic, and tactical security risks within the organisation.
  • Develop and implement programmes, policies, and procedures related to workforce protection, executive protection, physical security, asset protection, business continuity, enterprise risk management, workplace violence prevention, travel safety, events, and information security.
  • Supervise the Regional Security Manager (RSM) team.
  • Build relationships with regional business leaders and collaborate with other service functions such as IT, HR, Finance, and Legal.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practises and metrics defining operational performance.
  • Possess an excellent understanding of risk management concepts, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities relating to information security and general risk mitigation.

🌟 Required Experience:

  • Extensive management experience and training in a law enforcement or protective service agency (e.g., FBI, US Secret Service, Local Law Enforcement) or private sector corporate security organisation.
  • Strong background in security experience, specifically in large events and workforce and executive security.
  • Experience in leading critical or crisis management and managing high-performing and diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Experience leading and managing high performing and diverse teams
  • Budget management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
  • Experience in program management / strategic planning & initiatives
  • Experience with business continuity program development and emergency management - preferably in global corporation setting
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and metrics defining operational performance
  • Strong foundation in risk management concepts and implementation
  • Understanding of current cyber threats, vulnerabilities and control techniques relating to Information Security and general risk mitigation

🌟 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree in Law Enforcement, Public Administration, Business or related field.
  • Active memberships in security organisations, nationally and internationally.
  • Certified BCP Professional Designation desirable
  • ASIS certification desirable
  • Proficient in the English language
