Mon to Fri

  • Week 1: 6AM - 1400PM
  • Week 2: 10AM - 6PM
  • Call out at 1 week in 5 with £90 pounds payment plus weekly use of van and 4 hours minimum paid if called out

One of the UK's leading Facilities Management Engineer (FM) providers are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join their team dedicated to their client's Production facility in Southampton by the docks.

The site consists of corporate offices and Production buildings which are critical to their UK operation in the production for components in the military aerospace sector.

Here, you will work with another engineer to complete planned and reactive maintenance across Electrical systems, plus minor mechanical and fabric repairs.

Actions will include:

  • Responsibility for PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include Electrical, Fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks.
  • To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
  • To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issue of Permits to Work.
  • Ensure that all equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria

We need from you:

  • Electrical qualifications plus some maintenance experience
