Highways Operative required to work with leading and reputable Newport/Malpas based local council.
My client is looking for a hardworking and reliable Highway Operative to work from their Malpas depot.
You will work as a crucial part of their team, to undertake a range of general highway maintenance works that includes drainage, potholing, fencing, grass cutting and other similar highway works.
Van driving maybe required at times. If you are hardworking and looking for a long run of work this is the opportunity for you!
Start date: ASAP
Location: Newport/Malpas
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Pay rate: £13.50 per hour paid weekly
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and experience in manual and hands on work
- Health and safety conscious
- Happy to work in all weather conditions
- UK driving license is advantageous but not essential
