We are pleased to be working with a reputable secondary school in Bexleyheath that is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Business & ICT. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in inspiring students and contributing to their academic success.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Business and ICT lessons to students across various key stages.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet national standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Business and ICT departments.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Business and ICT at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business and ICT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Salary:
The salary for this position is up to Main Pay Scale 6 (MPS6) for Outer London, which is £46,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
