Job Advertisement: Pipefitters Needed in Redcar, Teesside
Position: Pipefitter
Location: Redcar, Teesside
Contract Duration: Immediate start until July (4 months)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 10-12 hours per day with weekend work potential

Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Assembly: Accurately install and assemble a variety of piping systems, ensuring all connections are secure and leak-proof.
- Fabrication: Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications using various tools and equipment.
- Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose and repair any issues within the piping systems, ensuring minimal downtime and operational efficiency.
- System Testing: Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure the integrity and safety of installed piping systems.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed specifications to plan and execute project tasks accurately.
- Material Selection: Choose appropriate piping materials and components based on project requirements and specifications.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople, supervisors, and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Safety Practices: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including material usage, labor hours, and any issues encountered.
Requirements:
- Valid Safety Passport/EMSS.
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of piping systems and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Compensation:
- Basic Pay: £19.11 per hour.
- Overtime (after 38 hours): £34.40 per hour.
- Payment Options: PAYE or CIS/UTR.
