Role:                                KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant

Location:                        Henlow, Central Bedfordshire

Salary:                             £80 - £100 per day

Hours:                             8.30 – 15.30

Start Date:                     September 2024

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated KS2 SEN TA to work full time at this ‘Good’ Primary School based in Henlow

Person Specification

• Some recent experience with managing the range of additional needs of SEN pupils
• There will be 1:1 duties involved within this role
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and empathy in providing for children with additional needs in mainstream education
• A keenness to work closely with colleagues in a nurturing SEN provision on a mainstream school site
• Recent experience in working in the primary classroom
• Desirable - knowledge/experience of working with children with a Pathological Demand Avoidance PDA profile
• Some knowledge of phonics
• Good knowledge of parent and report feedback including liaising with SLT and the SENCO
• Willing to reflect and work on feedback on observations of practice from the SENCO
