Project Manager/Production Line Technology

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join UK team in a project management position. This exciting role covers a wide range of applications and environments working on process control/data analytics software’s' and it's extensive range of tooling solutions. Our client is a leading innovator in production line technology, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity. Our clients team is passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology to develop robust systems that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects within the production line technology sector. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Job Description

  • Develop, define and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables to ensure that your assigned projects are delivered to agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress, liaising with all stakeholders. Report on project highlights, risks and issues as well as project changes to the projects supervisor. Ensure risks are managed appropriately with mitigation plans
  • Organise regular project review meetings (internal and with customers)
  • Support the sales team in providing project quotations and scopes of supply
  • Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders including: Customers Internal local customer centre and divisional departments and external suppliers
  • This is a co-ordination and planning role with responsibility for delivering projects to agreed timescales, resource levels and budget.
  • This role requires good communication skills with the ability to liaise with suppliers & clients persuasively conveying ideas and solutions.
  • You will need to provide engineering & project excellence to internal and external customers. You will need to manage projects in a way to maximize profits while always seeking to increase margin and adding value to the project delivery.
  • You will need to work with the ASMs to produce quotations to satisfy customers' request for quotation.

Required Skills and Experience

• Degree in Engineering Discipline (lower qualification with more experience will be considered.)

• PRINCE2 qualification is desirable.

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Project Manager preferable however graduates will be considered.

• Must be able to demonstrate ability to plan and deliver complex project.

• Must be able to demonstrate ability to prioritise multiple activities.

• Good communication skills

• Excellent Microsoft Office and computer skills. • Previous use and understanding of Project Management Software.
