Your Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Stock Controller to join our team based in Glasgow. Our Stores team is responsible for the receipt of incoming goods, ensuring materials received are in good condition, fit for use and are logged into our LIMS or Oracle system. As our Stock Controller, you will work closely with Quality Control, Purchasing & end users to make materials available in accordance with GxP and help resolve any issues relating to raw materials.  You will be supported by your Materials Supervisor to deliver excellent results. The role will also involve excellent inventory management techniques such as identifying slow moving material, waste avoidance (expiring material) and stock/annual cycle counts. 

Who You Are:

  • SQA National 5 (or equivalent) including English and Maths minimum.
  • Previous experience in Stock Control from any industry.
  • Previous experience working with material inventory systems (such as SAP, Oracle or LIMS) is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment (GLP/GMP) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of health and safety in a materials environment is preferred.
  • You must have good attention to detail and are highly results focused.
