Job Title: Quality and Contract Monitoring Officer
Duration: Temporary ongoing (could be 12month's)
Company: Warwickshire County Council
Hours: Monday to Friday - 37 hours a week, between the hours of 09:00 - 17:30 (17:00 finish on a Friday)
Location: Warwick/Hybrid
Salary: £17.59 to £19 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

What does the job entail?

On behalf of Warwickshire County Council, Pertemps Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Contract Monitoring Officer to join their team. Within their Contract Management and Quality Assurance team they deal with 100's of contracts which includes ICT, School Transport, Waste Management/Recycling and Recruitment Agencies. You will be ensuring services commissioned are safe, cost effective, good quality and lead to the desired outcome.

You will achieve this by:

• You will be supporting the delivery of contact management and quality assurance activity in line with the contract management framework.
• You will work with contractors to increase quality through developing and monitoring improvement plans.
• You will be supporting a specific project, for which experience in spend aggregation and data analysis would be advantageous.
• Contacting external suppliers to find solutions to contract issues.
• Investigating complaints or issues regarding quality or safety of service of suppliers.
• Collate and report on information about commissioned services to enable monitoring for both contract management and quality assurance purposes

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?

• Confident with both stakeholder management and engagement
• Experience of procurement for the Public Sector especially within Local Authority
• Must be data driven, able to take instruction and then work on own initiative to support the overall project plan
• Educated to a minimum A-Level standard (core subjects) and a level 3 qualification in CIPS Lv.3 would be advantageous
