Job Purpose
Senior welder working as part of a small team highly proficient in reading drawings and welding to a high standard.
Key Job Responsibilities: -
· Welding new refuse/Linen chutes systems along with replacement Hopper Doors and Discharge sections.
· Operating sanders, machinery and welding equipment.
· To work safe under the companies Health and Safety guidelines.
· Checking the quality before and after the welding.
· Palletising / manoeuvring parts using lifting aids.
· Maintaining a high level of housekeeping.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience
Essential: -
· Previous experience in MIG welding (MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR)
· Excellent communication skills.
· Organised and adapt at managing and prioritising workload.
· Ability to work in a small team.
· Must have an understanding on various metals.
· Must be able to follow drawings accurately.
· Be able to operate fabrication machinery safely and effectively.
Must be able to weld thin metal of 1.5 mm
