Cover Supervisor

£110 - £160/day

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our agency as a Cover Supervisor. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our educational institution. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise classes in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring a conducive learning environment. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has a passion for education and enjoys working with young people.

Responsibilities

· Supervise classes, ensuring that students are engaged and focused on their tasks.

· Follow lesson plans provided by absent teachers, delivering instructions effectively.

· Uphold classroom rules and policies, maintaining a positive and disciplined learning environment.

· Encourage student participation and facilitate discussions during class.

· Support students with their assignments and provide guidance when necessary.

· Monitor student progress and behavior, addressing any concerns promptly.

· Communicate with regular teachers, providing feedback on student behavior and progress.

Requirements

· A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.

· Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

· Patience and the ability to work well under pressure.

· A friendly and approachable demeanor, capable of building rapport with students.

· Flexibility in working hours, as the role may involve covering classes at short notice.
