Wentworth James are currently recruiting for an experience Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator for our client based near Sparkhill due to an upturn in work/orders.
The Role:
This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate due to the amount of work obtained by our client and it is a really good opportunity to join a well organised, busy and staff focused company.
Duties:
- Working from technical drawings or instructions
- Using a range of machinery such as brake press, guillotine and saws
- Drilling, grinding and tapping
- Cleaning welds ready for spraying
- Operating a range of machinery and equipment
- Fabrication and sub-assembly of products
- Working with varying thicknesses of material
- Quality inspection
- Prepping and finishing components
