Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for Mental Health Nurses/Learning Disability Nurses for our client based within a Forensic medium secure psychiatric hospital, based on the outskirts of York. The role as Registered Mental Health Nurse is a Full-time role (part time opportunities available), 37.5 hour per week, offering a salary up to £(phone number removed) per annum.

As a Mental Health Nurse, your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Assessing and monitoring the needs of patients
  • Collaboratively planning the care needs of the patient
  • Developing positive behavioural support plans with patients
  • Being an active part of the multi-disciplinary team
  • Administering medications
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN/RNLD) with a Valid NMC PIN
  • Minimum of 12-month Experience required
  • To be a team player
  • To be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
  • Good listening and rapport building ability
  • To be able to organise and prioritise your time
