Permanent; full time position

Thetford

Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 and Friday 08:30 to 14:15. (Office based)

Salary: £22,500 to £25,000

Cooper Lomaz are currently working in partnership with a growing Engineering organisation based in an accessible location in Thetford. Within this new role you will be responsible for the production of quotations that are raised in an effective and timely manner meeting customer specifications and requirements, along with communicating to customers and helping enhance / maintain working client relationships.

Day to day you will be working on a range of sales administration from receiving technical specifications of engineering product requirements to liaising with the customers and ensuring their needs are met. You will assist with the creation of quotations, ensuring a high level or accuracy, along with managing and updating the database to ensure the records are kept precisely. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Area Sales Managers to ensure that new customers have full access to all product literature and installation manuals and any support they require Work and cooperate with other departments within the business to ensure best customer service is given across, engineering, accounts, purchasing, production development, manufacturing and site

services.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Good customer services skills including effective telephone manner.
  • Can work efficiently under pressure and is able to use own initiative and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrate attributes in dealing with difficult customers in a calm and professional manner.
  • Capacity to work effectively within a team environment and at the same time be able to work independently.
  • Have good organisational skills.
  • Flexible in their approach to work and the working day. and have an ability to multitask and assist other departments when required
  • Confident and comfortable working with MS Word, Excel and Access
  • Good communication and literary skills
  • Preferably experience working in a Engineering environment but other sectors considered.
  • Ideally prior experience in an Internal Sales Administration / Technical Sales role although full training and guidance will be given to the right candidate.
