Autoclave Engineer

Are you an experienced Autoclave Engineer seeking a new challenge? Do you have experience working on Decontamination equipment such as Washer Disinfectors and Sterilisers? As an Autoclave Engineer, you will provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical support for our client's decontamination products. This includes installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, inspection testing, and validation of equipment, predominantly Autoclaves and Washer Disinfectors.

The Position:

Your main duties will include:

  • Providing effective communication with customers to ensure proper user training and documentation for all products.
  • Delivering efficient service on all decontamination products, resolving technical issues promptly in collaboration with customers and support staff.
  • Field service tasks such as installing, maintaining, and diagnosing equipment faults. Utilising the provided tablet and laptop for job completion and parts management. Maintaining car kits and conducting stock takes as required.
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and objectives, and performing reasonable tasks outside normal responsibilities.
  • Ensuring work sites are left clean and tidy.
  • Acting as a professional company ambassador to ensure customer satisfaction and foster ongoing business relationships.
  • Liaising between Installation Supervisors, Sales, and Customers to address any unresolved issues.
  • Keeping accurate records of installations, company equipment, tools, vehicle, and phone usage.
  • Performing cabinetry modifications and manufacturers' warranty work.
  • Participating in special projects and undertaking other duties as needed.
  • Demonstrating tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Electrical experience.
  • Certification in Electrical Installation work, including practical experience.
  • Preferably, recent experience in maintaining Autoclaves and Washer Disinfectors.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulics, Mechanical and Electrical systems, X-Rays, and Air and Water systems.
