Bench Joiner/ Cabinet Maker
A traditional bespoke joinery manufacturer based in East Tilbury, Essex are looking to extend their rapidly growing professional team. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a wide range of skills ensuring we create and deliver high end joinery to our many prestigious clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Use traditional woodworking machines in an efficient and skilled manner
- Accurately read and understand technical drawings to a high specification
- Prepare precise cutting lists to ensure the minimisation of waste
- Set out working rod drawings
- Manufacture bespoke joinery products for projects within agreed timescales
Experience:
- Previous experience of the following machines preferred:
- Spindle moulder
- Four-sided planer
- Tenoner
- Panel bench saw
- Morticer
Qualifications
- City & Guilds or NVQ Qualified
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience
- Experienced in Panel Work (MDF & Veneered Boards)
- A knowledge of veneer pressing would be an advantage
- Traditional Bespoke Solid Timber Joinery
- Reliable
- Excellent eye for detail
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
