Mechanical Design Engineer - Hereford

£30,000 - £37,000

Monday - Friday, early finish Friday, 9% Pension scheme, 33 days holiday, ongoing training and development

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Develop, verify and prepare drawings for manufacture

Design and develop machinery & components for a range of projects

Creating 2D & 3D models and drawings whilst liaising with customers

Supporting the development of new products

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience with design software - AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks

Experience with product testing and validation techniques

Strong organizational and communication skills across a range of levels

Design for manufacture knowledge
