Steel Estimator

Our client is a reputable and highly respected specialist contractor in the Construction industry. They deal predominantly in Structural Steel and due to ongoing success, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to work alongside the Estimating team and CAD technicians to estimate the costs of planned structural steel projects.
With an enthusiatic and proactive attitude, general duties will entail:
- Production of accurate and comprehensive estimates
- Understanding of the clients' enquiries to fully ascertain the requirements of the tender
- Production of measures/take offs, identifying all of the package relevant risks, inclusions, exclusions, etc
- Reading and understanding of structural engineers' and architects' general arrangement drawings
- Produce accurate and detailed quotation documents
- Attending pre and post tender meetings with clients
- Completion of hand over documentation
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be an experienced estimator ideally with some structural experience. You should also be a team player with a willingness to develop alongside the growth of the business.
