Internal Technical Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Sales Manager to join our client in the Letchworth area. This role is crucial in driving our engineering solutions to new and existing customers, bridging the gap between our technical capabilities and market needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional sales skills, and a passion for innovative engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and technical requirements.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical support and guidance to customers, demonstrating how our products meet their needs.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, understand competitive landscapes, and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Product Development Feedback: Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to relay customer feedback and market demands.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales within the engineering industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of engineering principles and products.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to understand and translate technical information into customer solutions.
