Salary Scale: £30,000.00 to £46,525.00 per year

Start: October half term

GSL Education is currently seeking to appoint an English Teacher to undertake a position at one of our client schools in Bourne. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated English teacher to join our vibrant school community in Bourne.

Job Summary:

  • Teach English to students at various levels, focusing on developing both their written and oral language skills.
  • Engage students with a variety of texts, encouraging analytical and critical thinking.
  • Plan and execute lessons that effectively meet the learning objectives and needs of all students.

Role of an English Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum.
  • Participate in school-wide activities and events.

The successful candidate will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status certificate or evidence of completion of a recognized teacher training program.
  • Possesses a degree in English or relevant subject.
  • Demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
  • Newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
  • Exhibits proactive, energetic, compassionate qualities.
  • Maternity cover approximately one year.
  • Having mantality to give classes for KS3 and KS4.
