Position Overview:

They are seeking a talented and experienced Architectural Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the education sector, with proven experience working on projects for schools and colleges. You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed technical drawings and plans for educational buildings, including schools and colleges.

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop and refine project designs.

- Ensure that all designs meet regulatory and quality standards, including building codes and health and safety regulations.

- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.

- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.

- Utilize CAD software and other design tools to produce high-quality technical drawings.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, specifically within the education sector.

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant design tools.

- Strong understanding of building regulations, health and safety standards, and other relevant legislation.

- Excellent technical drawing skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- A relevant degree or qualification in architecture or architectural technology.
