We are looking for a Mechanical Service Engineer for a transmission business based in Kent. You will be acting as the Mechanical Service Engineer working on transmissions / drive trains covering Installation, Servicing and Repair - this could be in the workshop or onboard a vessel anywhere around the UK, Europe, Middle East or Africa. 

You can come from the following backgrounds: HGV, Automotive, Marine, Agriculture 

Typically, this person will be a mechanically biased engineer, who can adapt to or have the current ability to diagnose electrical faults. 

Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Service Engineer based in Kent:
 

• Overhaul, repair, maintain and service of a wide range of land based and marine mechanically operated equipment 
• Ability to diagnose electrical faults 
• Competent at report writing            
• Customer facing           
• Have excellent communication skills                    

Qualifications and requirement for the Mechanical Service Engineer in Kent:
 

• Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical transmission systems          
• Full UK Driving Licence
