About the role

In your role as Technical System Analyst you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.

This role will provide a great opportunity to join the Business Systems & Change team, ensuring delivery of application technical analysis, configuration, support & associated MI.

Additionally, the Technical System Analyst will be maintaining the operational services to the business and members are maintained.

What you will be doing

As a trusted part of the IT you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring operational service is delivered to agreed standards and SLA’s, with support provided between agreed business supported hours
  • Supporting the timely delivery of audit actions and IT risk mitigations
  • Contributing and complying with business applications policies, standards and audit
  • Providing technical advice during any projects on the IT and group transformation portfolio
  • Providing advice, support & guidance in issue management and problem resolution for all supported business systems
  • Ongoing support of the scheme digital solution alongside 3rd party providers
  • Ensuring all technical systems support activities defined in support models for group Business Systems are adhered to
  • Providing & contribute to MI & outputs related to the supported business systems
  • Identifying and build relationships in the business for business system support
  • Ensuring business systems technical support calls are managed and addressed within service level agreement
  • Taking accountability for ensuring knowledge and skills are shared/transferred between the technical systems support team
  • Providing application support for all business systems across technical systems support
  • Mandatory and requested system changes are supported and delivered to timeframes and quality
  • Ownership and accountability to resolve group business systems support calls and incidents, including working with third party suppliers
  • Providing advice, supporting & guiding in issue management and problem resolution, including development and support for required system changes

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Prior experience and knowledge of pensions processes and legislation
  • Good relationship and stakeholder management skills, with focus on customer service and attention to detail
  • Established technical knowledge of application systems
  • Experience and demonstrate as working as part of a team
  • Experience of working with third party companies/suppliers
  • Preferrable Azure Application Insights (APM) and basic Azure API experience
  • Strong communication skills (written, pictorial, presentational and verbal) including the ability to adapt communications to different audiences.
