Salary: £17/hour CIS

Are you an experienced painter looking for a rewarding summer job? Building Careers UK is recruiting on behalf of a reputable school district in Crewe for dedicated and skilled painters to join a dynamic crew working on a school renovation project throughout the summer.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and priming
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
• Ensure high-quality finish and adherence to project specifications
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
• Work collaboratively with a team to meet project deadlines
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a painter
• CSCS Card
• Strong knowledge of painting materials and techniques
• Ability to work efficiently and produce high-quality work
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well in a team environment
