Resourcing Group is working a Maintenance Contractor based in the Exmouth. They specialise in carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance operating in both occupied and void homes across a set geographical patch and would like to appoint a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineers from a domestic background.



The position will involve the following:

  • Day to day repairs and maintenance to electrical equipment
  • Fault finding
  • Responding to emergency queries
  • Operating in live environments - occupied social housing premises
  • Making safe
  • Reporting works as completed
  • Completing certificates for each job
  • Operating a PDA system


Essential:

  • Experienced Electrician, fully qualified with domestic social housing experience.
  • City and Guilds in Electrical Engineering or NVQ equivalent
  • Experience of rewiring occupied domestic dwellings is an advantage
  • Technical fault finding and with fixing issues
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients including tenants
  • Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and its application within role.
  • Must hold a full UK driving license
