Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our client in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using MIG techniques, ensuring high-quality welds on sheet metal products.

Duties:
- Perform MIG welding on various metal components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to understand project specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut and shape metal pieces
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Assemble and fabricate metal structures according to blueprints
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve welding issues
- Utilise stick welding techniques when required

Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in MIG welding, particularly with sheet metal
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for metalworking tasks
- Strong understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance
- Ability to assemble and fabricate metal components accurately
- Must have their own tools

Shifts:

Monday to Thursday

7:00am - 5:00pm

Pay depending on experience
