We are currently recruiting for a talented CAD Technician to join an Industry leading, multidisciplinary construction consultancy based from their Sevenoaks or London office. Our client is an award-winning multidisciplinary business that offer a range of services including; Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Fire Engineering, Employers Agent etc. They work with a range of clients including; local authorities, commercial clients, private organisations, PFI & Building Managers and Public Sectors.

• Interpreting and translating design concepts and ideas into accurate and detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborating with design engineers and architects to gather product and structural requirements and designs.
• Adjusting and revising drawings as necessary, based on feedback from team members or clients.
• Conducting quality control checks to ensure conformity with specifications and existing standards.
• Preparing and presenting rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Produce accurate as-built floor plans and elevations from point cloud data.
• Assisting in the management of project files and CAD library.
• Providing assistance and support to team members during the design and planning process.

• Holds professional qualifications in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or a relevant qualification
• Proven work experience as a CAD Technician.
• Proficient in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit and Microstation).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with engineering or architectural design concepts and terminologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of ISO 19650 standards for managing information over the whole life cycle of the project.
