Our client is a fast-growth, fast-paced sports brand and needs an experienced Accounts Payable to support on a FTC. Reporting into the AP Manager and FC during a crucial time with exciting projects and ensuring all suppliers are kept happy with on-time payments during this busy period.

Our client operates in the UK, US and Australia and a growing company with creative people from more than 10 different countries and is on the lookout for the most talented and diverse team that thrives on passion and creativity!

What am I going to be responsible for ?

  • Responsible for processing high volume purchase invoices and supplier bills correctly and within company timeframes
  • Liaising with Operations to ensure Stock in/out movement is correct before payments are authorised
  • Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
  • Ensure correct invoices are matched & queries raised with relevant departments
  • Processing multi-currency payments, ensure correct tax treatment
  • Carrying out analysis on AP and cash balances
  • Preparing and completing journals and investigating debit balances
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Assist with Bank reconciliations
  • Liaising with key stakeholders within the business
  • Point of contact to external and internal business partners for any supplier queries
  • Working with the AP Manager on projects to improve the AP processes.

What will you bring ?

  • Minimum 3 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Stock Experience - desirable
  • Multi-currency experience - essential
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting software / EPR system
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • Flexible approach
  • Self-motivated
  • Good communication and relationship skills
  • Confidence to positively challenge stakeholders where appropriate
  • Resilience to see issues through to conclusion
  • Well organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands
  • Proficient IT skills including Excel
