Salary/Rate:
£19.3/hour Pension, OT rates

We are working on behalf of our client, an established engineering firm, in their search for a skilled Fabricator Welder. The company is renowned for manufacturing a wide variety of metal products for the waste industry and utilities sector. They offer a 24-hour repair service, so some overtime will be required.

Details:

  • Monday to Friday 8am4pm
  • 25 days holiday
  • OT paid at time and a third or double time
  • Pension Employee 3% / Employer 6%

Responsibilities:

  • Work from drawings and engineering plans to fabricate a variety of parts and structures.
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding, predominantly on steel plates.
  • Undertake a combination of maintenance and replacement projects.
  • Weld and fabricate unique pieces.
  • Work in both the workshop and on local customer sites, including waste water utilities and waste transfer sites.

Requirements:

  • Time served Fabricator Welder
  • MIG, TIG & MMA welding experience (MIG is essential)
  • Valid driving licence

Range of projects include:

  • Fans/Impellers
  • Motor/Pump Skids
  • Access/working platforms/walkways, staircases/handrails/safety barriers
  • Bunds
  • Centre columns,dewatering screens, grit rakes, pipework
  • Hoppers, tanks,transfer/storage vessels & rollers/conveyors
  • Workbenches / trolley
