Head of Sales and Procurement – Recycling – Plastics - Dudley

Brooklyn Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Head of Sales and Procurement for a RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) centre in the Bilston area of Wolverhampton. This is a hybrid working role with a lot of your time being spent out on the road visiting clients. As this is a new position within the company this role is available immediately!

This Plastics Recycling Plant have recently gone through some major changes and are looking for a Head of Sales and Procurement, to really take the company to the next level financially and to really make this position and department your own!

As Head of Sales and Procurement you will be:

• Developing and implementing sales strategies
• Identifying new business opportunities withing the Recycles Polyethylene Terephthalate (RPET) market
• Developing relationships with new and existing clients
• Preparing sales reports and forecasts
• Developing procurement strategies
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers
• Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring supply of raw materials
• Identifying trading opportunities
• Analysing the Recycles Polyethylene Terephthalate (RPET) market conditions for trading
• Manging the department’s budget
• Other duties as required

To be suitable for this role of Head of Sales and Procurement you should have held a similar role within a recycling facility ideally or a manufacturing environment. The perfect candidate would also have knowledge of RPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate). You should have Business Development experience as well as having previously been involved in trading. This position requires strong negotiation and communication skills.

As Head of Sales and Procurement you will be responsible for setting your own diary. This company don’t believe in micro management so as long as you are getting the results they will leave you to it (obviously you can ask for help or to collaborate). Initially you would be working alone but there is scope in the future to employ a team to support you. There is also a very generous uncapped bonus / commission.
