My client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor, in the Salisbury area. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience by providing exceptional service and ensuring they receive the correct parts they need, when they need them.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, both in person and over the phone.
  • Receive parts orders, interpret customer requests, and offer expert advice on parts selection and pricing.
  • Utilise parts catalogues and inventory systems to locate and verify parts availability.
  • Source unavailable parts from other dealerships or initiate stock orders when needed.
  • Process orders efficiently, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely dispatch.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers, keeping them informed on order progress and any potential delays.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and effectively, escalating unresolved issues to the Parts Supervisor.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a motor trade parts environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer software Kerridge OR 1Link is an advantage
