Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Selby, North Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £35k + Training + Benefits
A Yorkshire based Water Hygiene / Legionella control company are now seeking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer. This role would suit someone who is looking to join a leading Water Hygiene / Legionella consultancy. You will be working on Commercial, Industrial, and Educational sites, carrying out various L8 management duties including water sampling, temperature monitoring, CWST cleans and disinfections and calorifier blowdowns. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Goole, Beverly, Harrogate, Selby, York, Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Wakefield, Bradford, Leeds, Keighley, Harrogate, Worksop.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working hands on as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a professional Water Hygiene / Legionella company would be beneficial to the role.
" Extensive knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Able to organise workload in line with company / client needs.
" Familiar with onsite logbooks.
" Able to liaise with clients and colleagues efficiently.
The Role:
" Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Calorifier blowdowns.
" Closed system sampling, analysis, and dosing.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Ensuring to update onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
Alternative Job titles: Water Hygiene Engineer, Water Hygiene Technician, Environmental Service Technician, Legionella Engineer, Water Hygiene Operative.
