Position:                                                              HGV 2 Sweeper Driver

Location:                                                              Basildon, Essex

Hours:                                                                   Monday to Friday 07:00 to finish

Salary:                                                                   £17.00 per hour

DriverForce UK are seeking experienced HGV 2 Sweeper Drivers for our client based on the outskirts of Basildon.

You will be working as park of the street cleansing team, throughout the Borough. Duties will be varied but will include all aspects of street cleansing. The postholder will primarily be required to drive and operate a mechanical sweeper.

Duties but not inclusive to:

• Undertake driving duties as directed, which will mainly be driving a mechanical sweeping vehicle.
• Responsible for vehicle checks, completing daily vehicle defect sheets and any other paperwork required
• Undertake street cleansing and building cleaning duties. This will incluse litter picking and manual sweeping if required
• Emptying litter bins

Skills/Qualifications Required:

• Valid HGV licence and minimum 1 years experience
• HGV 2 Sweeper driver experience is essential
• Able to work outdoors in all weather
• Experience of cleansing work including manual handling
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements
