About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) for a part-time position focused on catch-up interventions. This role is available due to a new addition to our team, reflecting our commitment to providing additional support for our students.

As a TA, you will be crucial in helping students who are behind in the curriculum, especially those who have joined late. You will work with small groups and individual students, ensuring they receive the personalised attention they need to succeed. This role stands out because of the strong support system in place for our TAs, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ academic progress.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in Key Stage 1.

• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.

• Experience with boosters and interventions.

• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students who are behind in the curriculum, providing targeted support to help them catch up.

• Work closely with teachers to develop and implement intervention strategies.

• Monitor and report on student progress.

• Provide one-on-one and small group support.
