We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our expanding team at JDH Joinery as a Production Operative. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and contribute to our dynamic workshop.

About the Role: You will be joining a small, dedicated team of two and, working in our fully equipped workshop in Chester. This role is essential to our continued success and involves a variety of tasks as a Production Operative within our workshop.

Salary: Depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling panel-based products, hardwoods, softwoods, and solid surface materials.
• Performing heavy lifting and manual tasks.
• Using computers for tasks such as spreadsheets and opening drawings.
• Driving company vans as needed (Requires a normal driving license).
• Ensuring equipment is properly shut down and workshop is locked up.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to perform manual tasks and handle heavy lifting.
• Willing to commit to a full working week.
• Comfortable with basic PC tasks.
• Valid driving license.
• Enjoys working with others and contributing to a positive team environment and enthusiastic about improving the business.
• Willing to stay late or work weekends when required and dependable on workload.
• Comfortable with varied tasks and capable of taking on tasks independently after training.
• Naturally organised to help streamline processes and works well under pressure.
