About us

Both our homes are registered with Ofsted for two young people with Behaviour and Emotional problems. We work in a Therapeutic manner providing young people with consistency in their day-to-day care, working with a variety of professionals to ensure the best positive outcomes for young people.

Working times:

Staff work 3 shifts one week, two the following week. A total of 10 shifts per month including sleepovers.

  • 11am – 11pm followed by a sleepover 11pm - 7.00am.
  • Weekends are 10am – 11pm followed by a sleepover 11pm – 8.00am
  • At least once a month staff will have a long weekend off E.g Friday to the following Wednesday.
  • Second shifts are as follows: Monday – Friday 2.30pm – 8.30pm, Saturday, Sunday 1pm - 8pm

Location: This particular role is based in the Castleton area of Rochdale

Pay: £12.00 per hour plus an extra £50 per night sleepover.

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide a stable, warm, caring and safe environment for the Young people who reside in the home
  • Establish and maintain a positive and trusting relationship with the young people
  • Contribute towards meeting the physical, emotional, social, and Educational needs of the young people
  • To work as part of a team, to provide consistent working Practices and boundaries for the young people, in respect of their Behaviours
  • Undertake appropriate administration duties including clear and Accurate record keeping, and meeting deadlines
  • To take on the role of a Key Worker for a young person when requested
  • Support and encourage each young person to develop their Independence and life skills
