At Claires Court, we have an exciting opportunity for two creative and empathetic Teaching Assistants (TA) to join our thriving and successful Junior School from September 2024, to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.


Teaching Assistants – Two roles available (one 5 days a week; the other 3 days a week)
Maidenhead, SL6 3QE

  • Full time and part time available
  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Required for September 2024

The Roles:

You will work closely with the class teacher to support children both within the classroom and through small group work. We need somebody working 5 days a week during term time and somebody else working 3 days a week (we are also open to other combinations e.g. both TA’s working 4 days a week)

The permanent post is available as a full-time or part time working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am to 4:00pm, when the School is in session. If possible availability to work from 7:00am or finish later up to 5:00pm or 6:00pm would be appreciated.


To be successful in this role, you must be:

  • Experienced or a strong interest in working with primary aged children, in a classroom setting, ideally at Key Stage 1 and/or 2
  • Educated to a good standard – English and Maths GCSE A-C grade
  • Able to carry out 1:1 and small group support with pupils
  • Confident using ICT 
  • An enthusiastic team player, with the ability to adapt to a variety of situations
  • Engaged with the School's ethos, thinking creatively and reflectively within an open, honest and hardworking team
