Junior Acoustic Consultant

My clients are an independent acoustic consultancy with over five decades of experience in the industry. They are currently looking for a Junior Acoustic Consultant. This consultancy specialises in a wide range of acoustic services, including architectural and building acoustics, environmental noise management, and providing expert input on planning issues related to sound and acoustics. Their extensive expertise and proven track record have positioned them as a credible organisation in the acoustics sector.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in acoustic engineering or a related discipline.
• Membership in the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
• Minimum one year of hands-on experience in conducting sound and noise surveys.
• Possession of a valid UK driver's licence.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Compile technical data from assessments to generate comprehensive reports.
• Conduct surveys and evaluations on noise and vibration using modelling software.
• Cultivate effective communication channels and sustain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Work closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project delivery and adherence to deadlines.
