Search Healthcare recruiting a Band 8a CHC urgent response Manager on behalf of our client in Birmingham

*Working Hours:* Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM - 37.5 hours a week

*Hybrid working position - Remote working with visits to nursing homes within the Birmingham and Solihull area.

*Job Summary*

The principle aim of the role is to support the team to improve clinical pathways, efficiencies and patient outcomes within the role's remit through an integrated system approach.

-The post holder will be responsible for delivering a robust integrated discharge model that ensures effective, person-centred and integrated pathways of care out of hospital are embedded through interdisciplinary ways of working and clear, well managed processes and protocols

-The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Discharge Service.

-The post holder will be providing excellent management and professional leadership to the Continuing Healthcare team.

*Skills/Experience Required:*

-Educated to Masters degree level in a relevant subject, or significant experience of working within the specialist area

-Experience of working in patient experience, complaints, or PALS services. Experience of interagency working with partners such as provider organisations, local authorities etc.

-Experience of developing and reviewing patient experience, complaints, and PALS procedures.

-Thorough knowledge of Complaints Regulations, Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman's Principles of Good Complaint Handling and Department of Health best practice and guidelines.

-Knowledge of case management ICT systems for complaints. Understanding of Data Protection legislation and how this is applied in the context of the role.
