Senior Business Development Manager

Construction Recruitment Group are now looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager on behalf of a sister company, an accounting outsourcing provider.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Client Acquisition and Lead Generation:


Identify and target prospective clients within the UK market, including SMEs, accounting practices, and other entities requiring Accounts Preparation, VAT Returns, Management Accounts, Payroll and Self Assessment Services.                                                                    

Utilise various channels for lead generation, including networking events, industry conferences, digital marketing campaigns, and referrals from existing clients and professional networks.                                                                    

Engage with potential clients through strategic outreach efforts, in-person meetings, and personalised communications to generate interest and establish rapport.                                                        


2. Relationship Management and Consultative Selling:


Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within accounting practices and SMEs.                                                                    

Conduct thorough needs assessments and consultations to understand clients' pain points, challenges, and objectives related to accounting and tax management.            


Present tailored solutions and service offerings that address clients' specific requirements, emphasising the value proposition and benefits of outsourcing with our firm.                                                                    


3. Proposal Development and Negotiation:

Prepare customised proposals and presentations outlining the scope of services, pricing structures, and deliverables tailored to each client's needs and preferences.                                    

Lead negotiations with clients to finalise contract terms, service agreements, and pricing arrangements, ensuring alignment with both parties' expectations and objectives.                                                                    

Collaborate with internal accounting and tax team to develop comprehensive proposals and address any client concerns or inquiries.                                                                    


4. Market Analysis and Strategic Planning:

Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics within the UK accounting and outsourcing landscape.                                                                    

Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities, potential niches, and areas for expansion or differentiation.                                                                    


5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, conversion rates, revenue projections, and client retention rates.                                                        

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and deal progression using CRM systems and other relevant tools.                                                            

Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and updates for management review, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
