We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to join our team. As the Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our production processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and lead strategic initiatives. Responsibilities

1. Functional Leadership

- Establish and maintain quality standards and tools for value streams.
- Develop organizational structure, resource plans, and a quality-focused culture.
- Manage annual quality budgets.
- Facilitate Lean Business practices and drive continuous improvement.

2. Risk Management and Opportunity Development

- Evaluate business challenges, mitigate risks, and identify growth opportunities.
- Foster culture changes to enhance business performance.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with quality strategy.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

4. Quality Management System (QMS)

- Oversee the QMS (ISO 9001:2015).
- Conduct internal quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards.
- Manage certifications (ISO 9001, ASME, EN 1090).
- Coordinate inspections with insurance companies.

5. Customer and Regulatory Compliance

- Handle customer audits, questionnaires, and satisfaction.
- Ensure CE and UK marking compliance for machinery and systems.
- Host external compliance client audits.

6. Process Improvement

- Collaborate with functional heads to implement improvement plans.
- Address process non-conformance and prevent future issues.
- Review business, project, and production processes.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

7. **Team Leadership:**
- Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers.
- Provide training, guidance, and support for high performance.

Desired Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant commercial or engineering discipline (or equivalent NVQ Level 7 qualification).
- Advanced certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience in a similar manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record in managing and leading quality teams.
- Strategic quality leadership experience.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to operate at a strategic level.
- Chartered Membership of an industry-related Professional Body (preferred).
